Welcome to the only fan site dedicated entirely to George O’Brien! George was an actor of the silent era who successfully made the transition to sound. Today he is most remembered for his portrayal of “The Man” in Sunrise. But he was also the lead character in many Western movies during the 1930’s and 40’s. His career continued on into the 1960’s.


George was not just an actor though! He was a war veteran several times over. He was also devoted husband and a loving father. George had a very fulfilling and long life. Even now, so many years after he left this world, people still remember the  great man he was!
