L - L is responsible for some of the images on this site. Particularly those in color. Those images were colored by her. She has been very kind sharing her work for all to see.

E - E is responsible for some of the pictures as well. She is also the primary source of many of the articles you will see on this site. E has researched a lot about  George. Most of what is written on the Bio page came straight from her. I am honestly amazed by how much she knows!

D - D’s another one with a tremendous amount of George knowledge. I’ve learned quite a bit from the information he’s provided over time on the net.

Z - That’s me. I’m responsible for this website. My knowledge of George is limited, and I don’t have many pictures myself. Still, I feel very privileged and honored to create this website. I hope you like it!

August 10, 2010

Well the birthday announcement on the home page stayed a little longer than planned. I didn’t forget. My husband was ill and in the hospital in April and May. He’s been at home recovering since Memorial Day and is expected to make a full recovery. Thank Goodness! Also, there were some technical difficulties, but all is fixed now. Check out the WATCH page!

April 19, 2010 - BDAY Makeover!

Hello! Well as mentioned on the home page, today marks the 111th birthday of George. The announcement and cake, which is supposed to be animated (!), will be up for a while. Also in honor of this day I changed the look of the site. The content is pretty much the same. It’s the colors that were changed the most.  Enjoy your stay and let me know what you think of the new look. Thanks!

Ack! My domain name expired and the site went down. Luckily, I was able to register it again in time to keep it. I had to re-upload the entire site however. Which brings me to my next bit of news, I’m actually going to revamp the site. It hasn’t even been a year, but I’m after a new look. Something a little more..... clean. More common. Different colors maybe. The current site will stay as is, until the new one is ready. And when it’s ready, it will just take the place of this one. In the mean time, George will be screened and on TV later this month. Don’t miss out!

December 13, 2009...

It’s been a while since I launched the site. In that time I fixed a broken link, updated the WATCH page, and have collected some new pictures that still need to be sorted. The articles page will be coming soon, as will a new photo album. I admit, I’m not very pleased with how the photo albums have turned out. The fact that the albums open in what seems to be a site all their own doesn’t seem very clean. And I don’t know why the little forward/back/album images don’t come up. Needless to say, I’ll be revamping the pictures page. In some way.

I am so grateful the rest of my George buddies, who have contributed so much to the site, have been so patient. I’ve also received some positive feedback. Both from our fellow contributors and from others. Thank you very much. I spent a good 5 days sorting and organizing content, and creating this page. I only had a week to spare before return to work and I can assure you, that week, I barely saw daylight! It was well worth it though!

August 12, 2009...

The site has gone LIVE finally! it’s about 95% complete. Only thing missing is the articles page, and some more pictures. This will all follow shortly. I’ll try to update the site at least once a week. So bookmark this site and check back soon! And if you have any feedback, please feel free to leave it. I want the website to be really nice, and I need input from you for that!
